Leading flat knitting machine builder Stoll exhibited its latest developments at its own booth, as well as at a joint booth with Mayer Mümessillik and Mayer & Cie. at the 34th International Textile Machinery exhibition ITM in Istanbul, Turkey, last week, receiving positive feedback from visitors.

The company presented a large variety of its flat knitting technologies, such as its ADF machines, which offer all kinds of plating possibilities, combined with intarsia and ‘weave-in’ technology, as well as other flat knitting machines for various fields of application. For example, on show was a machine knitting medical textiles.

“Another highlight was our CMS 502 HP+, which was knitting a traditional kelim-design. The famous subject of knitting shoe uppers is now becoming a more and more important field of application in Turkey. We had several shoe uppers on display which found great interest for our customers. We hope that Turkey will get its well-deserved share in this market soon,” the company explains.

“Each day we had lots of very promising discussions with existing and new customers. Some of these discussions have led to significant business deals. 2018 looks to become one of the most successful years for Stoll in this market. Finally, we are very satisfied and happy with our participation in ITM 2018 and look already forward to the next one.”

For many companies in the knitting industry, Turkey and its surroundings are one of the most important strategic regions in the world. Stoll, a leading flat knitting machine manufacturer, has been participating in ITM for many years¸ seeing it as the best platform in Turkey to show new technologies to existing and potential new customers. “Stoll is always a highlight,” said one of the visitors.

“Together with our agency Mayer Mümessillik, Stoll exhibited the latest technologies. During the four days of the exhibition the booth was always very well visited and customers from Turkey, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Africa found their way to us,” the company reports.
