Flat knitting machine builder Stoll will be sporting a revamped brand image and showing innovative new technology that it says will deliver greater flexibility, creativity and additional colours for knitters at this year's ITMA ASIA + CITME show.

The Reutlingen, Germany based company with a long history, says it will premiere a new machine and present new intelligent knitting technologies in Shanghai in order to strengthen its leading international position in the market for flat knitting machines.

Stoll says it plans to showcase a new machine that offers the knitting industry unprecedented freedom at Asia's premiere textile machinery show.

"Above all, it enables greater variability, flexibility, and productivity with the quality and speed that Stoll is known for. Designers gain new possibilities for creating imaginative looks while incorporating additional colours," the company said in a statement this morning.

Stoll says its high-tech commitment will be emphasized by a newly developed brand image which will be evident in the company's redesigned booth, which will also debut in Shanghai.

"Our trade show motto for 2012 is ‘Knitting Performance by Stoll' and a variety of knit patterns will be displayed in the booth to show customers and visitors that knitting performance is everyday reality for Stoll," the company said.

A large-area visual presentation on the inside walls of the new booth will be visible from afar inviting trade show attendees to drop in and talk shop. Stoll also says the two-level exhibition and meeting section will be light and airy, to unveil an "elegantly puristic yet comfortable ambiance - exactly the right setting for acquainting an international trade audience with the company's new machine generation and technical innovations."

Stoll is one of the world's leading flat knitting machine builders and was founded in Reutlingen, Germany in 1873 and employs around 1000 people worldwide.

Besides flat knitting machines, its portfolio includes pattern software that is widely used to create fashion, technical, and medical textiles. Stoll's production activities are centred in Germany, from which it exports to 70 countries around the globe.

Via subsidiaries, sales and service centres, and distributors, the company also offers a full range of services. The company leverages innovative technologies to launch a steady stream of new knitting trends that can be viewed in its own inspiring collection at ITMA Asia 2012.
