At the forthcoming Yiwutex 2017, the world’s largest exhibition for equipment for hosiery manufacturing, Switzerland’s Stäubli, a leading manufacturer of control systems for knitting mills, will exhibit its DEIMO 2900SL controller for circular knitting machines, which is suitable for machines for the production of socks and pantyhose, and in the mid-to-large diameter range, for underwear or seamless garments.
Incorporating the very latest technology, Stäubli says the 2900SL reliably, efficiently, and precisely controls all functions of circular knitting machines operating in demanding environments.
Stäubli’s DEIMO Knitting Solutions are technically refined products for a wide range of applications and are being used very successfully for customized solutions in the knitting industry, the company reports.
“Thanks to their high performance and flexibility, DEIMO products serve to automate increasingly complex production processes in modern circular knitting machines,” Stäubli says.
In addition to its operation and control systems, Stäubli will also show its powerful DData and Dstyler software. DData has functionalities for recording production data, importing and exporting textile patterns, and even for accessing the system from a remote location. Articles to be produced on the machine can be conveniently programmed with the powerful and easy-to-use DStyler graphic software, the company adds.
According to Stäubli, DEIMO systems and solutions take into account any specific needs in terms of IT and space requirements and can be perfectly adapted to customers’ needs.
Stäubli provides innovative technological solutions in three dedicated fields of activity - Connectors, Robotics, and Textile. With a workforce of over 4,500, the company generates an annual turnover exceeding 1 billion Swiss francs.
