Nylon 6.6 yarns producer Nilit held its Annual Sales, Marketing and Technical conference in January in Tel-Aviv, Israel. The event which was attended by a number of leading industry figures was themed ‘Connecting the Links of Innovation’.
Gathered under one roof were, Paschal Little from Marks & Spencer, Miryha Fantegrossi from Jockey International, Ralf Hermann from Willy Hermann, Roger Douek from Tesco, Steve Perry from Darlington and Louisa Smith from Fashion & Textile Forecasting. The guest speakers shared their companies’ latest innovations and developments, as well as their ‘wish list’ from Nilit.
“The interaction between textile market-leaders and Nilit was very fruitful. This event “launched” a new initiative lead by Nilit, aimed at getting the different players in our industry closer to each other, raising challenges and opportunities”, said Fabio Kahn, Managing Director of the Fibers Division.
Nilit produces nylon 6.6 and microfibre yarns in a broad selection of dtex and filament counts, lustre levels, and types of cross-sections.
Nilit’s yarns are used for knitwear, wovens and spandex covering applications for the production of fashionable and functional legwear, bodywear, intimate apparel and activewear.
The company works closely with its international customer base from offices in Italy, the United States, Germany, France, Latin America, Asia Pacific and China.
