Billed as The Leading Textile Technology Exhibition Driving Regional Growth, ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025 is expected to attract visitors from major textile and garment production hubs across the region.

Mr Alex Zucchi, president of CEMATEX, commented: “Textile manufacturers from South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East view this exhibition as a strategic platform to source advanced machinery solutions that will optimise production efficiency, increase output volumes, and enhance product quality to meet growing market demands.”

Mr Gu Ping, president of the China Textile Machinery Association (CTMA), added: “As a premier trade exhibition, ITMA ASIA + CITME, Singapore 2025 showcases cutting-edge textile production solutions. By fostering targeted business discussions, it enables textile machinery manufacturers and industry professionals to forge regional collaborations and drive innovation in the textile sector.”

Jemmy Kartiwa Sastraatmadja, chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) and the ASEAN Textile Industry Federation (AFTEX), said: “This joint exhibition in Singapore is a valuable platform for ASEAN’s textile industry. The modern technology on display will enhance the competitiveness of the textile and garment sector.”

He further emphasised the importance of such exhibitions being held regularly: “Updating technology and understanding global trends are essential for the sustainable future of the textile and garment industry. As the global textile sector increasingly prioritises environmentally friendly production methods, addressing production and garment waste must also be a key focus.”

According to the show owners – CEMATEX, CTMA, and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT (CCPIT TEX) – over 770 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions have been allotted stand space at Singapore Expo. The exhibitor list will be available on the event website and mobile app in June.

Since 2008, ITMA ASIA + CITME has been held in Shanghai every two years. The next combined exhibition is scheduled for 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai. CEMATEX first launched ITMA ASIA in 2001, followed by a second show in 2005, both of which were held in Singapore before merging with CITME in 2008. CITME, the China International Textile Machinery Exhibition, was first held in 1988 and took place in Beijing for ten editions until 2006.
