Tintex launches 24hours collection for SS 2022

A collection of 10 Naturally Advanced interlock-based solutions for a 24-hour contemporary consumer experience – from sunrise to sunset.

Portugal based jersey fabrics specialist Tintex has launched its new 24hours collection, described as, 10 fabrics with an interlock structure designed to adapt to all the needs of the day, 24 hours a day, and cutting-edge technology to offer the contemporary consumer a brand new smart and high-performance choice. The collection’s highlights are described as follows:

The Leather touch - art. TC5799: a 100% NewLife coated interlock with a leather feeling look and touch thanks to the special and unique Tintex water-based coating process with Pine Shell incorporation.  Compact structure with a natural colour and texturized surface No dye process involved on this product and water repellency and resistance and abrasion resistance were guaranteed. This new article results from the Texboost project. Tintex participated in this project with entities of the scientific and technological national system CITEVE, CENTI and CTIC and with the companies Sedacor and Têxteis Penedo. The perfect smart ingredient for fashion accessories and outerwear.

Comfortable & Fashionable - art. 5763-AB/FD/ON: a 46% Organic Cotton, 54% Newlife functional interlock with a neat surface thanks to Plummy finishing. A smooth, precious cotton touch with no use of hazardous chemicals and much less water use compared to traditional mercerization treatment. The fabric uses Polygiene Stay Fresh and Polygiene Odor Crunch for active odour control technology that breaks down the odour and the technical hydrophilic finishing Hydroperm by Archroma for a fast dry and comfortable surface and a fresh look. Due the structure and the raw materials this knit can be dyed always in two different colours.

Glamorous & Comfortable - art. 5767-AB/FD/ON: a 100% Tencel Lyocell with Micro technology interlock with enhanced odour neutralizer functions thanks to Polygiene Stay Fresh and Polygiene Odor Crunch smart technologies that actively stop odours. Both technologies are Oeko-tex class I and bluesign approved; Hydroperm by Archroma enhances moisture management, perfectly fitting applications such as shirting, outdoor and sportswear. The Tastex technology by Tanatex is a skin-care treatment agent based on micelles, which gives a special cool sensation using dynamic temperature control.

Compact, comfortable, and fashionable - art. 5769-AB/FD: Tintex selected three premium responsible ingredients such as Q-Nova by Fulgar environmentally sustainable nylon 6.6 fibre obtained exclusively from regenerated raw materials and the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified responsible premium recycled stretch yarn Roica EF by Asahi Kasei and Tencel Lyocell. The enhanced wellbeing performance is due to three factors:  The Q-Nova and Tencel Lyocell fibre that present inherent moisture control, the flexible and stretchy interlock structure, and the technologies of Polygiene Stay Fresh and Hydroperm by Archroma.

Practical & Comfy - art 5772: a GOTS certified organic cotton from Europe interlock that offers compactness and a texturized and cosy surface. A comfy solution that could be used to create a beach towel as well as a home blanket.
