Also, there were increases in sales of Malaysian textiles and clothing to the US market and the EU market, and textile production and clothing production in Malaysia were both up. In Myanmar, there were increases in exports to several of the country's major markets, including Canada, the EU, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Turkey and the UK--although there were declines in exports to China, Russia and Thailand.

There were increases in exports from Thailand to most of the country's major markets, including the EU, India, Japan, the USA and Asean countries, although there was a decline in exports to China. Also, textile production in Thailand inched up after declines in 2021 and 2022 but clothing production declined for the third consecutive year.

In Vietnam, there were significant rises in sales to the EU market, the South Korean market and the US market, and textile production and clothing production both increased.
