Maglificio Pini’s usual presence at Pitti Filati 96 is confirmed. The appointment is from 28-30 January at the Fortezza da Basso in the show’s KnitClub area, a venue for which

Maglificio Pini has a place in its heart. The knitwear factory from Forlì, Emilia-Romagna has been participating in this important initiative since its zero edition, proudly carrying the banner of Made in Italy.

The deep connection that brings together Maglificio Pini and Pitti Filati’s Knitclub can be summed up in three key concepts: tradition, quality and care for the product. According to Maglificio Pini’s Martina Pini, all the aspects that make the excellence of Made in Italy unique in the world can be found in the willingness of creating a space where mastery and attention to details merge to give birth to garments of a higher level. It is precisely this that over the years Maglificio Pini has been bringing to Pitti Filati’s stage, sharing the quality of its know-how with professionals from all over Italy and the world.

In the unique setting of Fortezza da Basso and Florence, the city of Italian fashion par excellence, the company returns to show the result of its experience in the field of knitwear gained in nearly 50 years of work. This period has been focused on continuous research for improvement and characterised by the constant application of cutting-edge technologies.

With their eyes always turned to the future and sustainability, but with their heart and knowledge close to tradition, the second generation of the Pinis lead the company towards an ever-expanding market, keeping its quality standards very high and capable of satisfying the most important brands in luxury fashion.

The theme of Fire will be the focus of the upcoming exhibition - an element so imposing and pervasive in human history since the dawn of time and important in every culture, both earthly and abstract. The fire that flares and burns becoming a source of both destruction and creation, synonymous with ardour and passion, but also sacred, ritual or frightening, Pini says. Thus, Pitti Fire will fan and keep the flame of creativity burning, inspiring Maglificio Pini in choosing the garments to be exhibited at the fair: a bright and warm palette, made of textured fabrics and special workmanship that draw inspiration from the nuances of flames and the visual impact that fire, in all its forms, can provide.

For this edition, Pini confirms its collaboration with Filati Be.Mi.Va., which will entail Maglificio Pini’s involvement in creating the garments for the mill’s stand display. It represents an important opportunity that, aside from allowing to preliminarily test the yarns to be presented at the fair, will showcase the factory’s capability in the realisation of extremely complex garments.
