Knitwear Solutions, a part of Premiere Vision Paris, which takes place from 10-12 February at the Parc des Expositions de Paris NordVillepinte, will feature an international and cutting-edge selection of 35 exhibitors this season.

For Spring/Summer 2016, the platform dedicated to creative flatbed knits will present an offer with proposals enriched by the expertise and creativity of a significantly higher number of international exhibitors than last year.

Altogether, the show will include 31 knitters of all sizes and for all markets, from mid/ top-range to luxury, for women’s, men’s and children’s; three industry leading spinners, specialists in cashmere, wool and cotton; and one machine and technology manufacturer.

Growing interest

These knitters and spinners come from 11 of the most important countries in the industry. On display will also be the 14 textile design studios specialising in knits, which play complementary roles at the Première Vision Designs show (former Indigo).

Overall, 49 specialists in creative flatbed knits are presenting their Spring/Summer 2016 collections, their expertise and their technologies this season.

They round out the Première Vision Paris offer, by providing a global product response to visitors, and proposing concrete solutions to designers, product heads and buyers specialised in flatbed knits – some 3,300 of whom attended the show last February.

International offer

Among its exhibitors this season, Knitwear Solutions welcomes seven new knitters. Selected by a committee of experts and industry professionals, they are showing their collections for the first time, and come from Italy, Romania, Lithuania, Morocco, and Hong Kong.

Among them, one comes directly from Première Vision Manufacturing (former ZOOM) – the Lithuanian Omniteksas UAB.

Regularly present at the fashion manufacturing show, this exhibitor from now on will be part of Knitwear Solutions, as a result of the reorganization of the offer directly linked with the recent integration of the six Première Vision Paris shows.

Knit Italy exhibits Italian expertise

Italy is the leading country represented at Knitwear Solutions. For the first time, in an effort to showcase the high-quality know-how of the Italian knitters, Knitwear Solutions is presenting a selection of products developed by Italian exhibitors.

These pieces are truly outstanding in terms of their style and technological content, and are featured in a display prepared by Federico Poletti, a journalist and founder of the website Maglifico.com/The Knit Journal, and Marco Sanarelli, the president of Mely’s Knitwear, an Italian leader in luxury knits.
