“We touch our faces all the time. So often, that the odds of recontamination of our hands between washings is extremely high. Wearing a face mask can help prevent you from touching your face and mouth, potentially decreasing your risk of contracting illnesses,” the Kansas based company says.

DTYF (presumably Don’t Touch Your Face?) masks have a two-layer design with knitted-in pocket that holds an optional filter (not included) and offers added protection. The masks are said to be durable and their lightweight yarns provide a protective physical barrier and keep the wearer cool and comfortable.

DTYF are made from exceptionally soft yarns, including ear loops, for optimal wearing comfort and are easy to care for (machine wash cold, tumble dry low, do not bleach). The masks are designed with super stretchy yarns to provide comfortable fit.

For every mask purchased, Knit-Rite will donate a mask to an organization serving vulnerable populations.
