Netherlands based Knitwear Lab is excited to announce the newly released FW’23 collection of high-end London-based brand and long-time collaborator, Ahluwalia.
The latest Ahluwalia collection is a continuation of the evolution of the brand. For this season, the genesis starts with sound. Entitled ‘Symphony’, creative director Priya Ahluwalia translates the music that has influenced her life in a range of dynamic designs.
“Ahluwalia weaves the beauty of sonic creation directly into the FW23’ collection. The knitwear, developed together with Knitwear Lab, features soundwaves motif, integrated with jacquard technique in a range of patterns and garments,” says Knitwear Lab Co-Founder and Creative Director Cherish Brouwer.
“Inspired by her musical heritage and diversity of music styles, Priya Ahluwalia envisioned intricate colourful knits in Ahluwalia’s iconic vivid colours, and executed the styles in viscose, merino wool and mohair yarns.”
Knitwear Lab develops innovative, sustainable, and design-driven knitwear solutions. In recent years the studio has grown to be one of Northern-Europe’s most prominent research and knowledge hubs for knitwear. Knitwear Lab’s programmers work with the latest Stoll ADF flat knitting machines.
