Eurovet, the organiser of shows such as Interfilière Paris, has rescheduled its summer events for September due to the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company issued the following statement this afternoon.
“The worldwide health crisis we’ve been experiencing for several months now is forcing us, as an international event organizer, to rethink our global schedule of events, so that they may all take place within healthy, market-friendly conditions.
In order to truly fulfil our economic and social roles in support of the firms that place their trust in us, we have decided, like many other fashion trade shows scheduled for the same period, to postpone to September 2020 our shows initially scheduled for June 27-30, 2020 in Paris during The Paris Fashion Week, which itself has just announced the cancellation of its June edition, due to these exceptional circumstances.
The entire Lingerie and Swimwear industry, from material sourcing through to finished products, will thus gather once again from September 5-7, 2020, all together in pavilion 3 at Porte de Versailles, alongside the Who’s Next ready-to-wear and fashion accessories show.
Suppliers of materials and textile accessories for Lingerie, Swim and Sport will come together under the banner of their reference Interfilière Paris show, and swimwear and lingerie brands will present their new collections at the Riviera show, the event for late-season orders.
Interfilière Paris and Riviera will therefore join forces side by side with Who’s Next in early September to support the relaunch of our industry. Our mission is to allow international industry stakeholders to meet, exchange ideas and build the future; the very DNA of our events is allowing each and every participant to save precious time. To serve our industry, we are committed to working with all players involved in order to accelerate this reboot together, once we emerge from this crisis.
Today, more than ever, we believe in remaining committed and collectively engaged on behalf of all the firms that make up our industry: brands, suppliers, retailers and distributors.
Let us remain united and stay stronger together.”
