Gildan, a leading manufacturer of quality, affordable basics, showcasing its latest styles and product innovations at last week’s Impressions Expo in Long Beach, California. The event featured brands such as Gildan, Comfort Colors, American Apparel, and, under an exclusive licensing agreement for the printwear channel, Champion.
The three-day expo included interactive booth displays with live printing, giveaways, and a preview of 2026 styles. Emma Budzisz, Vice-President of Marketing at Gildan Activewear SRL, commented: “The innovations and styles we’re introducing across our brands underline and strengthen our position as the industry’s preferred choice for decorators.”
Gildan introduced Plasma Print Technology, designed to enhance the direct-to-garment printing process by reducing the need for pre-treatment, resulting in softer fabrics, brighter colours, improved ink coverage, and enhanced print consistency.
Additionally, the brand’s Soft Cotton Technology redefines softness and comfort and will be incorporated into the new Light Cotton collection, offering a softer touch and improved printability while maintaining durability and value.
New styles included additions to the Light Cotton collection, the Gildan Hammer Maxweight collection, and the Softstyle Midweight Fleece collection. Comfort Colors is celebrating 50 years of providing soft, high-quality, garment-dyed ring-spun cotton shirts. American Apparel continues to offer its signature fashion-forward styles, and Champion brings its iconic athletic wear to the printwear market. These developments align with Gildan’s Sustainable Growth strategy, aiming to support the company’s growth ambitions.
