300+ intimate apparel brands to visit Galleria Intima
This year’s Galleria Intima will be three times bigger than its previous edition last year, with more than 300 brands and industry leaders from the intimate apparel industry visiting the event that will run from 23-24 August, organised by the leading industry body, the Intimate Apparel Association of India (IAAI). After successfully hosting 30 exhibitors last year, the event this year will feature over 80 brands showcasing their products. Galleria Intima welcomes intimate apparel industry experts, leading manufacturers and suppliers as well as top lingerie brands at the event that will feature exclusive exhibits of fibres, fabrics, laces, embroideries, accessories, machinery, automated technology and packaging materials.

This year’s Galleria Intima show will be three times bigger compared to its previous edition last year, with more than 300 brands and industry leaders from the intimate apparel industry to visit the event that will run from 23-24 August, organised by leading industry body the Intimate Apparel Association of India (IAAI).
After successfully hosting 30 exhibitors last year, the event this year will feature over 80 exhibitors showcasing their products.
Galleria Intima welcomes intimate apparel industry experts, leading manufacturers and suppliers as well as top lingerie brands at the event that will feature exclusive exhibits of fibres, fabrics, laces, embroideries, accessories, machinery, automated technology and packaging materials.
The two day show will see panel discussions by leading intimate apparel industry experts, seminars, planned B2B meetings, the Galleria Intima 2013 Fashion Show and an exclusive ‘Trends Boutique’, for select exhibitors to present their most contemporary creations.
Exhibition highlights
David Landart, Asia Sales Director of Carlin International, a French-based trend forecasting company, will host an exclusive workshop focusing on regarding upcoming trends in the intimate apparel industry and brand building through design innovation.
It is also the first time that Sri-Lankan based MAS Fabrics, that offers extensive range of services from design to delivery, will be showcasing in India, at the Galleria Intima. MAS Fabrics consists of different backward integration ventures including Stretchline Elastics, Trischel (knitted and wrap knit fabrics), Texprint, Silueta, Prym Intimates and Noyon Laces.
Wazir Advisors, an expert to the show, will present a white paper of the Indian intimate apparel industry covering essential areas like manufacturing, retailing and consumer trends. The report shall also discuss the industry’s growth in the next 5 years.
International
The show has received recognition not only in India, but internationally, from countries like USA, Sri Lanka, Austria, China, Indonesia, Turkey, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Italy, Taiwan, India, Germany, Switzerland and Thailand. After successfully hosting 30 exhibitors last year, the event this year will feature over 80 exhibitors showcasing fibres, fabrics, laces, elastics, threads, accessories and more.
