Already a leader in second skin fabrics with a reputation for fine and light fabrics offering excellent hand-feel and comfort, the company has launched a sophisticated range specially suited to plus sizes and shapewear, two key areas in the current intimates market.

Interfilière Paris has appointed a Designer of the Year within the framework of the Paris, Capitale de la Création collective every year since 2003. The prize celebrates excellence, know-how, creativity and innovation in the fabrics and accessories market for intimates and beachwear. It is dedicated to industry professionals who contribute to the sector's development.

Established in 1954, Dogi International Fabrics is a Spanish company which produces upscale stretch fabrics for intimates, swimwear and sportswear. The latest innovations from Dogi International Fabrics for the intimates market are described by Interfilière organisers as follows:

"COOPER - giving shapewear a new dimension: reactive and light, the fabrics in this range feature multidimensional elastane which supports without constriction, guaranteeing long-lasting comfort.

WINN - a new ‘wellbeing' fabric which uses the latest micro-encapsulation technologies from Nurel.

SARI - created after years of research, this unique aesthetic, sensual and feminine product combines lightness with shaping capacity."

"A loyal Interfilière Paris exhibitor, Dogi International Fabrics is a key player in the industry that takes part in Interfilière's four annual events in Paris and Asia," organisers Eurovet said.

"Dynamic, active and ready to meet any challenge, the company is a privileged point of contact for developing innovative projects to be showcased on the Interfilière Paris general forum, as will be the case in January."

Dogi International Fabrics owns three manufacturing facilities across the world in Spain, China and the USA. Its total production capacity represents 15 million metres of fabrics, with turnover of around €60 million and 600 staff.

The three manufacturing facilities feature the very latest machines for knitting, dyeing and finishing stretch fabrics. Intimates represent 70% of turnover, with the remaining 30% split between beachwear, sportswear and the medical sector.
