Leading builder of warp knitting machines Karl Mayer is showing at this year’s Bandung Inter Tex in Jakarta, Indonesia, which takes place from 22 to 25 April. The German machine builder will be exhibiting a range of machines including its type HKS 3-M flexible tricot machine.

Karl Mayer says the HKS 3-M is suitable for producing a wide range of textiles, from light tulles to high-quality plush fabrics. The company stresses that it is even suitable for manufacturing open structures with extremely low stitch densities and coarse gauges, offering increased production efficiency.

The key to the enhanced productivity, Karl Mayer says, is the lightweight machine construction. As a result of the integration of CFRP components and of a precise matching of the entire design concept, the HKS 3-M machine now operates at even higher speeds, offering better heat stability compared to its high-capacity predecessor.

Karl Mayer says all of these advantages of the new generation of HKS machines will be convincingly demonstrated at the company’s stand during Bandung Inter Tex. The HKS 3-M, which Karl Mayer considers an all-rounder, will be exhibited in a gauge of E 28 and a working width of 180 inches,  producing an inelastic printing ground structure. Other focal points at the Karl Mayer stand will be the company’s latest raschel machine developments and machines for the production of technical textiles as well as warp preparation units.
