Iluna Group goes upcycling

The journey of Iluna Group resumes, aiming to explore and, above all, decode the dimensions of the autumn/winter 2025-2026 season.

The must-have approach is the conscious choice to give life to creativity, which is not only realised through production linked to innovation and responsible practices that have already become daily practice for Iluna Group, but also amplifies and becomes inclusive. This approach looks within the company and is capable of giving new life and value to what already exists.

Upcycling as an extreme form of transformation of things, energies, and people, a new mindset to confront a new generation of innovation. Never banal, never simple, it chooses a circular culture by integrating and applying the process of transformation and measurement even to its possible internal spaces, enhancing something that already exists.

From this vision, the collaboration with Fondazione Fashion Research Italy (www.ffri.it ) was born. The non-profit was created to enhance the manufacturing excellence of its territory, Italy, and has become a point of reference for the entire fashion sector. Iluna Group, as a technical partner, carried out a project that implemented an Upcycling Workshop. Over two days, May 17 and 18, the main participants were designer Marco Rambaldi and 25 young creatives eager to give new life to a disused family wardrobe item through upcycling. For this edition, there were two types of materials to use: denim and lace.

But from this approach, several simple activities also arise, aiming to creatively transform work tools such as the semi-annual lace books into truly smart presentation tools for the new collections.

Further expressing this vision, Iluna Group demonstrates it in their daily operations as a leading European lace industry, continuously seeking low environmental impact solutions with maximum respect for the planet. Recycling remains a fundamental theme, and to confirm this, Iluna Group is GRS certified for its Green Label sustainable product line.

Today, Iluna Group potentially covers its entire production using this technology and its products. We are talking about Renycle and Q- NOVA for certified European polyamide production, and Roica EF for premium and responsible stretch materials.

Discussing the keywords of the upcoming A/W 2025-2026 collection, Iluna Group continues this journey, saying:

Evolving: We return to the origins, conducting an introspective examination, not to retrieve something from our roots, but to capture and interpret new organic movements created between water - one of the four primordial elements of life - and matter.

Joy: We recognise the joy that represents the magic of winter: mountain holidays, the warmth of a fireplace, the festive atmosphere, and above all, the joyful warmth of our closest loved ones.

Calycanthus: from the Greek ‘winter flower’, the natural beauty of a small yellow flower that blooms from a slender shrub in the coldest months, spreading an intense and sweet fragrance that touches the senses and evokes unexpected emotions. It marks the awakening of nature’s senses.

Last but not least, since 2015 Iluna Group has been offering its products through an e-commerce platform with no minimums or access conditions. This significant project aims to be present across the entire market chain, including education and startups. We are now in the second generation of this e- commerce platform, where Iluna Group not only enhances the user experience with new generation investments and technologies but also shares themes such as product traceability and supply chain, mostly referring to ingredients and finishes made in Europe.
