On show will be the latest version of the SDS-ONE APEX3 3D which will be demonstrating its comprehensive support of the entire process of knitwear production from planning and production to sales promotion.
Additionally the cutting edge SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system will also demonstrate its capability for virtual sampling, which offers great savings in the sample making process. Also on display will be Shima's unique SWG061N compact Wholegarment knitting machine which has been specially designed for producing small Wholegarment items without sewing or linking.
SDS-ONE APEX3
An "all-in-one" 3D design system that supports all aspects of fashion design and production, SDS-ONE APEX3 is said to improve the planning process through photo-realistic simulation capability, effectively reducing time, material and cost in the sampling process through the use of virtual simulation. Products can be checked in 3D using 3D simulation, 3D modelling, 3D fitting simulation and 3D mapping. SDS-ONE APEX3 also supports design and simulation in a variety of other industries such as circular knitting, pile knitting, weaving and printing.
SWG061N
A compact Wholegarment knitting machine specially designed for producing small Wholegarment items, SWG061N is capable of producing gloves, socks, five-toe socks, hats, mufflers, leg warmers, neck-ties and other fashion accessories, as well as childrenswear, tanktops, leggings and other small garments, in their entirety, with no sewing or linking required.
According to Shima, its SWG061N allows any knitting business to perform production of Wholegarment knitwear with minimal investment.
