The popular Olympia swimwear brand, owned by renowned German manufacturer, Adolf Riedl, has incorporated Lycra FitSense technology into its latest range.
The suits from the new range feature LycraFitSense technology to provide the wearer with lightweight, targeted support and a stay-in-place fit. The swimwear itself is constructed using Carvico’s recycled polyamide fabric, Vita, which incorporates Lycra Xtra Life fibre to help protect the garments from chlorine while also making them a more sustainable option.
The Olympia Goes Next Level collection will launch in March 2021 and includes one style legging, one swimsuit and two styles of bikini tops to go with one bottom, all available in either petroleum or black. The products will be available to consumers from key retailers across the globe.
Cutting-edge LycraFitSense technology is applied in liquid form and screen-printed in patterns (either clear or in eye-catching colours) onto swimwear made with Lycra Xtra Life fibre, for a combination of functionality and style. The innovative technology provides Olympia’s new range with lightweight, targeted shaping zones and eliminates the need for bulky, restrictive sewn-in panels or extra seams that can often also be slow to dry.
Additionally, the use of Lycra Xtra Life fibre increases the lifespan of the swimwear, due to its proven resistance to degradation from chlorinated water, heat and sunscreen.
