Première Vision, the leading organiser of global fashion trade shows, is set to make its Canadian debut in Montréal on 22–23 April 2025. Hosted at the Grand Quai, the two-day event will welcome over 100 exhibitors and feature a dynamic programme of 24 conferences dedicated to the industry’s key challenges and future directions.
The initiative is supported by mmode, Montréal’s fashion cluster, and marks Première Vision’s second event in North America. Strategically timed and located, it offers a vital commercial alternative for textile and leather professionals seeking new international opportunities in a changing global market.
“This new event in Montréal confirms our ambition to offer a global development platform for the textile industry,” said Florence Rousson, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of Première Vision and Managing Director of The Creative Pole, GL events’ fashion division. “In an unstable international context, the market needs to redefine its reference points. PV Montréal offers two days to better understand and approach a market full of exclusive and unprecedented business opportunities.”
Montréal’s Mayor, Valérie Plante, praised the city’s creative credentials and welcomed the show as an economic and cultural boost. “Première Vision Montréal eloquently showcases Montréal’s creative spirit, while providing a key opportunity for business development and market diversification within the industry,” she said.
The show will bring together six core sectors — designs, fabrics, manufacturing, leather and furs, accessories, and smart creation — reflecting the diversity of trades that drive the fashion supply chain. A dedicated fashion information space will highlight key trends and colours for the Spring-Summer 2026 season, offering essential inspiration for designers and buyers alike.
Canada will be the most represented nation among exhibitors, accounting for 20%, followed by participants from South Korea, Portugal, China, France, Türkiye, the United States, Italy, and Spain. This international mix confirms the show’s potential to become a major meeting point for the global fashion industry in North America.
With 38 speakers scheduled to lead 24 thought-provoking conferences, Première Vision Montréal aims to catalyse meaningful dialogue on innovation, sustainability, and design excellence.
