Busi Twin Layer sock knitting machineItalian sock knitting machinery manufacturer Busi Giovanni has been continuing its collaborations with leading yarns producers to develop new products on its innovative knitting machines.

Last year the company announced that it had established a marketing and commercial partnership with Filmar a leading Italian cotton yarn spinner based in the Brescia area of Lombardy near to Busi’s own manufacturing facility.  This time round its synthetic yarns.

Busi’s Marketing & Export Manager Michele Castagna explains: “Over the past few months the Spanish polyamide yarns producer Nylstar, which specializes in manufacturing premium innovative yarns, has developed a variety of sophisticated samples through our unique machine Busi Twin Layer.”

“These developments have been brought to the attention of the most important world brands in the sport industry as well as many other large manufacturers of technical socks for skiing, trekking and mountaineering activities between others.”

“A range of new samples has been made using Nylstar’s the innovative Meryl Merino yarn, an outstanding product made with Meryl yarns and Merino wool, and Meryl Derm, yarn with dermatological properties.”
