Knitwear, Knitted Outerwear

The highly anticipated Texworld Paris and Apparel Sourcing Paris trade fairs are set to make a dynamic comeback to the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre from February 10–12, 2025. This edition promises to redefine the sourcing experience with a wealth of new features, exhibitors, and sustainable initiatives tailored for the global textile and fashion industries.

Global sourcing diversity in focus

More than 1,200 exhibitors representing knitters, weavers, garment manufacturers, and textile innovators from across the globe are expected to gather in Halls 2, 3, and 4. This edition underscores the diversity of international sourcing options, presenting creative collections at competitive prices for the apparel sector.

Texworld Paris will feature its Top 5 traditional sourcing countries-China, Türkiye, India, Korea, and Taiwan - alongside rising contributors such as Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Egypt. The Netherlands makes a notable return with exhibitors like Quality Textile, Nooteboom, and Verhees Textiles showcasing inventive cotton solutions. The knitwear sector welcomes innovative names such as O.N.K, W-Tex, JK Tex, and TL Corporation, while the growing denim sector includes global leaders like Winwin Textile (China) and NZ Denim (Bangladesh).

Spotlight on sustainability and innovation

Sustainability takes centre stage at the new ‘Initiatives’ zone in Hall 4. Here, visitors can explore inspiring eco-friendly solutions, including Vietnamese firm Bao Lan Textile’s innovative pineapple leaf fibre fabrics with natural antibacterial and UV-protective properties. The zone also hosts the China Textile Information Centre’s trends forum and the Econogy Hub, dedicated to Messe Frankfurt’s sustainability-focused initiatives.

The activewear sector offers another highlight, with Japan’s Toyoshima showcasing its low-water-consumption ‘non-denim’ fabrics and unique wagami textiles crafted from bespoke blends of cotton, linen, and wool.

Apparel Sourcing expands focus on Africa and near sourcing

Apparel Sourcing Paris anticipates over 500 exhibitors, spotlighting finished products, accessories, and clothing from key manufacturing regions. Africa takes the spotlight with exhibitors from Ethiopia, Rwanda (Pink Mango), and the Arise Integrated Industrial Platform, representing Togo, Benin, and Gabon.

European sourcing also receives a boost with Ukraine returning alongside companies from Portugal, Morocco, and Eastern Europe, presented through Foursource, Messe Frankfurt’s near-sourcing partner.

Enhanced visitor experience

The exhibition’s layout has been reimagined to create a seamless experience for visitors, encouraging synergies between raw materials and finished products. Hall 4 will cater to women’s wear, silk, and lace, while Hall 3 focuses on outdoor, sportswear, and casualwear sectors. Hall 2 is set to become a hub for relaxation, networking, and inspiration, featuring trend forums, product presentations, and an Agora space for discussions and round tables.

Themed sourcing itineraries for tailored needs

To enhance navigation, Messe Frankfurt France has introduced three curated itineraries:

- Econogy Finder: Highlighting over 80 sustainable textile suppliers, identified with special logos and listed in the event’s app

- Small Quantity: Catering to buyers seeking limited-edition or capsule collections, this trail identifies more than 200 exhibitors offering small production runs
