UNIFI, Inc., the makers of REPREVE and a leader in recycled and synthetic yarns, has launched Integr8, a multi-functional sustainable filament yarn. Integr8 is a spandex-free stretch yarn incorporating REPREVE recycled polyester, designed for apparel, footwear, and home furnishings. The innovative yarn delivers ultra-soft comfort with advanced moisture management and durability.
"Integr8 represents a breakthrough, particularly for apparel and footwear brands seeking stretch alternatives to spandex with reduced environmental impact," said Eddie Ingle, Chief Executive Officer of UNIFI, Inc.
Integr8 is a continuous filament yarn made with post-consumer recycled plastic, offering a combination of softness and performance. Features include spandex-free comfort stretch, evaporative cooling, UPF protection, and easy-care, low-wrinkle properties. It is embedded with REPREVE's FiberPrint technology and holds certifications such as U-TRUST, Oeko-Tex, GRS, and SCS for recycled content.
Designed for global availability, Integr8 supports the growing demand for circular and sustainable textile solutions. The yarn’s traceability and versatility position it as an ideal choice for brands focused on sustainability and performance. UNIFI will debut Integr8 at Première Vision Paris from February 11-13, where it will be exhibited at Hall 6, booth #6L40.
