Following the success of its award-winning sustainable socks, Kingly is launching full custom garment manufacturing with eco-friendly fabrics, effective 15th February 2023.

The Southampton, UK headquartered company, which has manufacturing facilities in Bulgaria, will start producing custom-made t-shirts, polos, boxer shorts, sweatshirts and a whole lot more. All products will be European made with sustainable GOTS organic cotton, Euro Cotton and recycled polyester according to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). All will be 100% traceable with sustainability reports and transaction certificates.

“Recognizing that we are at an important crossroad, my team and I are dedicated to providing the best sustainable earth-friendly products,” says Rob Armour, CEO of Kingly.

In an effort to minimize the negative effect of the garment industry, Kingly also intends to upcycle old clothing that will be repurposed and designed into limited edition collections. All of the clothing will be impregnated with Polygiene technology which inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria in the garments.

Based on its commitment to a better, cleaner environment, and in line with its ISO 14001 Environmental Policy, Kingly’s waste fibres created in the sock knitting process are retained, where they find a new life as stuffing for printed pillowcases. The Kingly Upcycled Cushions are said to be highly appealing sustainable products produced in a factory that is SMETA Pillar 4 audited and accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
